Far Eastern International Bank joins hands with six schools to cultivate AI financial science and technology innovation talents

        Far Eastern International Bank Bankee community bank, together with Puhui Financial Technology Co., Ltd., and six universities and financial institutions jointly organized the "AI financial technology alliance" and jointly hosted the "first AI financial technology innovation and creativity competition". The final was held at National Taipei University of Business on December 20, 2019, attracting more than 1000 students from 40 universities across Taiwan. Finally, the team composed of National Chiao Tung University / National Cheng Kung University / Ming Chuan University won the title of creative group, while the team of National Taiwan University of Science and Technology won the one of innovation group.

        AI financial science and technology innovation and creativity competition combined with the synergy of the industry, school and research and was expected to cultivate Taiwan's digital financial science and technology talents and explore infinite possibilities for innovative business models of financial science and technology. Dai Songzhi, vice president of the digital financial business group of Far Eastern International Bank, believes that there is still a gap between the financial science and technology from creative inspiration, concept verification and the real implementation of the business model. He encouraged the students to focus on and go deep into the problems, find the weak points and the core, so as to create financial services that can meet the needs of people's life scenarios. How to help students put their creative ideas into practice is the part that the college and the financial industry can work together. The aim of AI Industry and School Alliance is to take root in the cultivation of financial science and technology talents, help young students to realize the innovation and creativity of financial science and technology, and develop domestic financial collaboration between industry and school.
