Kaohsiung Far Eastern Department Store struggled for performance and built a pet friendly shopping mall

        In order to create a high-quality field for family fun, on August 1, Kaohsiung Far Eastern Department Store, together with the navy skiff team and the Kaohsiung Animal Protection Department, promoted the pet friendly shopping mall. Adoption of animals was held in the square on the first floor, and a naval talent recruitment booth was set up. It coincided with the holiday and job hunting season. So an endless stream of people interacted with the animals and inquired about the army work in front of the booth!

        From time to time, Kaohsiung Far Eastern Department store holds a variety of activities in the square on the first floor, such as adoption of animals, guide dog public welfare propaganda and so on, to create a happy field for animals. This activity invited the animal control unit of the navy skiff team which was supported and established by the Animal Protection Department. The team was responsible for the reception and resettlement of stray dogs in Zuoying military port area. Director Ye kunsong led a team of veterinarians to the camp to carry out sterilization operation for dogs, implement the replacement of killing with birth control, and set up dog houses to manage the dogs. At present, the breeding and flocking of stray dogs in the camp have been effectively controlled. In addition to maintaining the safety of officers and soldiers, they also hope to find a sweet home for the animals in the camp through similar adoption activities. In order to attract the attention of people, officers and soldiers of the unit made use of their own expertise to draw relevant pictures and made into stickers to send to the people. Besides publicizing the concept of "adoption instead of purchase, birth control instead of killing", they also hope to be close to the public and let the people know more about the Navy and support the Navy.
