The 17th Y. Z. Hsu Scientific Award Award Ceremony was held on August 22 at Far Eastern Plaza Hotel, Taipei. Xie Dabin, Vice-Chief of the Ministry of Science and Technology, Headman representatives of various academic institutions and 21 winners and their relatives and friends were invited to attend the ceremony.
