　 　“Far Eastern Y. Z. Hsu Science & Technology Memorial Foundation,” established under the Far Eastern Group in 2001, was the first private foundation supervised by the National Science Council of the Executive Yuan.  Committed to fostering “technological innovation,” the Foundation has been actively promoting developments of technologies and encouraging talents by sponsoring the annual “Y. Z. Hsu Science Award” with focus on emerging key technologies through rigorous and impartial evaluations, which has gained prestige and recognition in the scientific research field and turned into a remarkable honor for scientists.

The only Far Eastern New Century Corporation in Taiwan won the ITMF "Sustainable Innovation Award"

　　As a leader in green material solutions, the Far East New Century spared no effort to promote sustainable innovation products. It developed the world's first environment-friendly technological fabric made of "waste gas recycling technology" combined with "nylon 66 liquid dyeing process". After winning the "ISPO International Textile Trend Award Best Environmental Product Award" in February, it was awarded the first "Sustainable Innovation Award" by the International Textile Federation (ITMF) on September 20.

Far Eastern Construction Company won the double award of "China Architecture Golden Stone Award"

　　Yuanyang Construction's "Yuanyang Forest" project was contracted by Yuanyang Construction. With its excellent planning and construction quality, Yuanyang Construction was awarded the 30th "China Architecture Gold and Stone Award— Planning and Design Category -- Residential Super High rise Group Award" and the "Gold and Stone First Award" by the China Education, Science, Technology and Innovation Development Association.
