　 　“Far Eastern Y. Z. Hsu Science & Technology Memorial Foundation,” established under the Far Eastern Group in 2001, was the first private foundation supervised by the National Science Council of the Executive Yuan.  Committed to fostering “technological innovation,” the Foundation has been actively promoting developments of technologies and encouraging talents by sponsoring the annual “Y. Z. Hsu Science Award” with focus on emerging key technologies through rigorous and impartial evaluations, which has gained prestige and recognition in the scientific research field and turned into a remarkable honor for scientists.

The achievements of Asian mud investment in circular economy were recognized again

　　The Green Economy Research Center of the Chinese Academy of Economic Research held the 3rd "Taiwan Circular Economy Award" award ceremony on September 30. The Asian Cement Hualian Plant won the "Product Award - Outstanding Enterprise", and was the cement company that won the award for the first time. Zhang Zhipeng, vice general manager and general manager of Asia Cement, who attended the ceremony, said that he would like to thank the judges for their affirmation and let the outside world see the efforts of Asia Cement to invest in the circular economy. 　　On September 27, Yadong University of Science and Technology and the Overseas Chinese Affairs Committee of the Executive Yuan held the unveiling ceremony of the "Malaysia High tech Talent Training Base". President Huang Maoquan and Vice President Zhang Junlin of Yadong University of Science and Technology, Assistant Manager Chen Yuelian of the Far East New Century, Chairman Tong Zhenyuan of the Overseas Chinese Affairs Committee, and representatives of Friends of Malaysia and He Ruiping of the Trade Center jointly participated. The unit is expected to open three two-year special classes (associate degree) starting from the 112 academic year, namely, "5G Communication Technology Application", "Electrical Engineering" and "Long term Care".
