U-Ming Marine 2022 Shareholders’ Meeting
In 2021, the consolidated revenue of U-Ming marine transport
shipping was ntd14012 million, the after tax surplus was ntd4892
million, the after tax earnings per share (EPS) was ntd5.79, and
NTD3 cash dividend was distributed per share to maintain a high
cash dividend yield. Although the shipping industry has been
affected by global epidemic, Russia Ukraine war, carbon emission
regulations, emerging technologies, inflation, rising costs and
other factors in recent years, U-Ming marine transport continues
to transform and upgrade, bravely breaks through the current
situation, grasps the market trend, and prudently plans the
company's growth goals. In the future, it will continue to
cooperate with major customers to expand lng/ammonia/methanole
and other low-carbon energy fleets, and cooperate with Taiwan's
energy transformation plan and energy security policies to
organize a national LNG ship team to provide sustainable
low-carbon green transportation services.

OUCC 2022 Shareholders’ Meeting
In 2021, due to the large
increase in the international capacity of ethylene glycol, as
well as the unfavorable supply of ethylene raw materials and
soaring prices, the operation of Donglian ethylene glycol
products was not as expected. However, in recent years, due to
the implementation of the high-value strategy of products,
Donglian has made great efforts to develop green chemicals and
gas products. As a result, its operation has reversed and
recovered, and its revenue and profit have reached new highs. In
2021, the consolidated turnover was ntd27.48 billion, an
increase of 46% over the previous year. The net operating profit
was ntd14.2 billion and the net operating interest rate was
5.2%. The after tax net profit attributable to Donglian is
ntd900million, the after tax earnings per share (EPS) is
ntd1.03, and the profit allocated per share is ntd0.7. It is
expected that in the second half of 2022, four new plants will
be put into production line in Donglian, namely, polyether amine
(PEA) plant, ethylene diamine (EDA) plant, ethylene oxide
derivatives second plant (EOD II) and high-purity and
high-quality CO2 production line plant, to meet the market
demand.
