2023 Smart City Summit & Expo Comes on Stage: Remote Universe Digital Governance Scenarios Catch the Eyes

　The "2023 Smart City Summit & Expo" made its grand debut in Taipei and Kaohsiung on March 28 and March 30, with the first "2050 Net Zero City Expo" held simultaneously in Taipei. With the theme of "FET Big Data+AI+IoT Net Zero Digital Dual Transformation", Far EasTone Telecommunications (FET) exhibited more than 20 innovative applications in both places. On the opening day of the Taipei venue, it set a record for more than 15 delegations, hundreds of domestic and foreign leaders, industry representatives, and other distinguished guests to visit. 　In 2019, Far Eastern Electronic Toll Collection Co., Ltd. led Taiwan's intelligent transportation industry to develop in Thailand, testing a multi lane free flow system in some sections of the local M9 highway, effectively improving congestion conditions, and attracting the attention of Southeast Asian countries with successful experiences. On March 29, Dr Sorawit Narupiti, President of Thai ITS Association, led his team and accompanied members of the Thai Road and Transportation Authority (DLT) and the Thai Highway Administration (EXAT) to Taiwan to investigate the electronic toll gate and adjudication center. Also, the members visit facilities such as the traffic control center of the Taiwan Department of Transport Highway Administration. Besides, Dr Sorawit Narupiti exchanged experiences with Deputy Director Peng Huanru, Wu Zhongjie, Deputy Director of Far Eastern Electronic Toll Collection, and Chen Shengkeng, Executive Director of Yuantuotai.
