        The "2023 Smart City Exhibition" made its grand debut on March 28 and March 30 in Taipei and Kaohsiung, with the first "2050 Net Zero City Exhibition" held simultaneously in Taipei. Far EasTone Telecommunications, with the theme of "Far EasTone Telecommunications Big Data+AI+IoT Net Zero Digit Dual Transformation," showcased more than 20 innovative applications in both locations. On the opening day of the Taipei venue, it set a record for over 15 delegations, hundreds of domestic and international leaders, industry representatives, and other distinguished guests to visit, and the first public "Metaverse Digital Governance" management scene became one of the focuses of the exhibition.         Far EasTone Telecommunications has been deeply involved in smart city applications for a long time, and has achieved great success in the 2023 Smart City Innovation Application Award - County and City Innovation Application Group. For example, in the field of "smart security", we collaborated with the Kaohsiung Municipal Government Police Department to construct a "3D Street Violence Warning and AI Intelligence Integration Investigation and Search Platform", which is the first application in Taiwan to combine AIoT image recognition and sound sensing technology, Provide street violence warning and proactive reporting functions, and assist in integrating cross agency information from the city government to effectively prevent crime and significantly shorten case investigation time.

        In addition, in terms of public health policies, Far EasTone Telecommunications, following the launch of 5G remote diagnosis and treatment services, further promoted the "Retinopathy AI Prevention and Treatment Mechanism" in Taitung County last year, assisting health clinics in quickly and accurately identifying lesions, effectively assisting physicians in grasping the severity of the condition and the location of retinal injuries.                 The "Global Telecom Smart City Conference" is the highlight of this year's Smart City Exhibition. This year, with the theme of "Jointly Creating 5G Smart Cities", telecom companies from Thailand, South Korea, Brazil and other countries are invited to participate in the grand event. Far EasTone Telecommunications was attended by Vice President Li Jianzheng from the Enterprise and International Business Group, to share various innovative applications such as the "5G Ambulance" and the "5G Smart Patrol Vehicle" developed through the integration of 5G with Big Data+AI+IoT (Big Data, Artificial Intelligence, Internet of Things (IoT)) technology, and the creation of multiple award-winning cases.

        The innovative applications exhibited in Kaohsiung are more focused on integrating local needs, including low-carbon transportation solutions, smart police, etc. Among them, the "Smart Intersection System" combines 5G with C-V2X technology to provide warning of light rail driving hazards in Kaohsiung, reduce accident rates, and become a major highlight on site. In addition to Kaohsiung City, Far EasTone Telecommunications has also partnered with the Taoyuan City Government Transportation Bureau to complete 27 "intersection protection warning systems" and 5 "pedestrian crossing warning systems" by the middle of this year. The cumulative number will become the highest in Taiwan, thereby improving road safety and attracting attention during the exhibition period.

        Moving towards net zero in low-carbon is an important direction for sustainable governance. Hu Demin, Executive Vice President of the Information and Digital Transformation Technology Group, was invited to attend the "Low Carbon City Vision and Action Forum", to discuss the role of enterprises in urban net zero transformation with county and city government officials, scholars, and the industry, and to share strategies for Far EasTone Telecommunications; Lin Weicheng Manager and Chen Guozheng Senior Vice President were also invited to attend other speeches, exchanging successful experiences on environmental sustainability and smart healthcare themes.

        The core operational scenario "Metaverse Digital Governance" has been publicly announced for the first time

        Faced with the rapid growth of smart cities and industrial applications, Far EasTone Telecommunications first proposed the concept of "metaverse digital governance", showcasing the metaverse management scenarios of "core network operation center" and "cloud computer room management center". By using digital twins technology combined with Big Data and AI, it helps managers quickly identify the root cause of problems from virtual spaces and achieve optimal management, President Chen Jianren and Vice President Zheng Wencan of the Executive Yuan both visited the exhibition area in person and expressed high interest.

        At the "2050 Net Zero City Exhibition", Far EasTone Telecommunications showcased various energy-saving and carbon reduction plans, such as selecting the optimal efficiency 5G base location through AI technology to reduce carbon emissions by 26000 tons per year; At the same time, we are actively building green energy bases, including 27 solar and Taiwan power parallel power supply bases, which have generated nearly 240000 kWh of electricity. In addition, innovative wind wall air conditioning systems are introduced into the data center, introducing external low-temperature air to assist in server cooling and reduce air conditioning power consumption.
