U-Ming Marine Transport's Energy-saving New Ship "Yufa" Has Been Put into Service

　　U-Ming Marine Transport (Singapore) Sdn Bhd, a subsidiary of U-Ming Marine Transport, commissioned New Ocean Shipbuilding Co., Ltd. to construct the 64000 deadweight ton Ultramax bulk carrier, M.V. "Asian Prosperity", which was inaugurated on October 14th in Yangzhou. The ceremony was personally presided over by Chairman Xu Xudong and invited Stephanie Comin, General Manager of the Taiwan branch of Hong Kong based Christian Dior Limited, to name the new ship. On the same day, U-Ming Marine Transport signed four new ship construction contracts with New Ocean Shipbuilding Company to establish a stable cooperative relationship between them.

　　The 22nd Y.Z. Hsu Scientific Award Ceremony was held on September 17th at the Far Eastern Shangri La in Taipei by Mr. Yu Xiang Hsu Memorial Foundation. Representatives from various institutions, including the National Science Council, Ministry of Education, and the National Education Agency, as well as relatives and friends of the winners, attended to share the honor and joy of the 28 award winners. The foundation also specially invited Academician Sina Lin Liqiong to give a speech on the topic of "Towards Net Zero Carbon Reduction - Taking Key Nanocatalytic Technologies as an Example".
