Experience unprecedented innovative design at the Asia Eastern University of Science and Technology joint exhibition, making a stunning debut

        The "Asia Eastern University of Science and Technology Industrial and Commercial Design Exhibition" was grandly held from June 8th to 20th at Far Eastern Department Stores in Banqiao. In addition to showcasing specialized works from the Department of Industrial and Commercial Design, the exhibition also showcased the school's collaboration with affiliated enterprises such as Far EasTone Telecommunications, Asia Cement Corporation, and Far Eastern Memorial Hospital, leveraging the synergies of the group to innovate and cooperate in multiple fields such as AI technology, ESG, and precision medicine. Vice President Huang Maoquan, R&D Director Yan Yinghong, Section Chief Jiang Yanzhu from the Department of Industrial and Commercial Design, Section Chief Liang Xinghuang from the Incubation Center, as well as Senior Vice President Shi Zhiyao and Assistant Manager Li Zhaode, the general managers of Far Eastern Department Stores in Banqiao District, attended the opening ribbon cutting ceremony.

        One of the highlights of this exhibition is the prosthetic system and its prosthetic device, developed by Professor Jianpeng He's team from the Department of Communication Engineering at Asia Eastern University of Science and Technology. They used 3D modeling and printing to create a simulated prosthetic hand, which was detected through alpha and beta wave signals in the prefrontal cortex and transmitted using electroencephalography (EEG). The aim is to help people with hand and limb defects restore their original functions as much as possible, while also showcasing Asia Eastern University of Science and Technology's strength in the field of precision medicine.
