Chairman Douglas Tong Hsu of Far Eastern Group was Awarded an Honorary Doctorate from Tamkang UniversityTamkang University held its 74th anniversary celebration on November 2nd, and President Ge Huanzhao awarded an honorary doctoral degree to Chairman Douglas Tong Hsu of Far Eastern Group. This is the second time that Chairman Xu has received an honorary doctoral degree from the university since 2002, following the award from National Chiao Tung University (now Yangming Chiao Tung University). The management teams of the top 10 listed (OTC) companies under the group also participated in the event, and the award ceremony was broadcast live online, inviting the public to witness it together.  | The 16th FEDS Tainan Store Shoe Donation Charity Event has BegunThe 16th "Run! Let's Move Forward Together" charity shoe raising event will be held from October 31st to November 24th at Far Eastern Department Store Tainan Store. The goal is to raise 300 pairs of sports shoes, which will be donated to elementary school children in remote areas of Tainan City and Hualien County as Christmas gifts on December 3rd, the Christmas charity lighting day. Far Eastern SOGO Department Store Anniversary Celebration with Sanrio FamilyThe annual finale shopping event, "Far Eastern SOGO Department Store 37th Anniversary Celebration," will be held from now until November 18th.
