Far Eastern Memorial Hospital and Islamic University of Indonesia signed a memorandum of cooperation

        On September 5, represented by Zhang Shuwen, Vice President of Far Eastern Memorial Hospital, signed a memorandum of cooperation with the University Islam Negeri Syarif Hidayatullah Jakarta, UIN Jakarta, Indonesia, which includes: talent training and exchange, clinical training, academic exchange and language/culture. UIN Jakarta is one of the top ten colleges in Indonesia, with medical schools, health science schools and science and technology schools.

        Since May this year, Far Eastern Memorial Hospital has undertaken the "New South Medical and Health Cooperation and Industrial Development" entrusted by the Ministry of Health and Welfare, and is mainly responsible for District B of Indonesia, covering Jakarta, the capital of Indonesia, and Medan and Palembang in Sumatra. This is the first signing ceremony after the hospital implemented this plan. It hopes to expand Taiwan's medical and health soft power through exchanges and cooperation, At the same time, UIN Jakarta medical director and director of medical and social security were also invited to participate in the international seminar speech and forum in October.

        Although the new coronal epidemic has affected personnel exchanges and exchanges, international medical cooperation has never stopped due to the development and progress of science and technology. In the past two years, Far Eastern Memorial Hospital has successively shared the epidemic prevention efforts of Taiwan and Far Eastern Memorial Hospital with the Ministry of Health of Belize, the Taipei Presidential Palace of Nicaragua, the Ministry of Health of Vietnam, the Indonesian Medical and Social Security Bureau, etc., and won recognition from international friends. Among them, through the meeting with the Indonesian Medical and Social Security Bureau, it was learned that the Indonesian government is interested in cooperating with long-distance medical development and medical staff training. Therefore, Far Eastern Memorial Hospital will introduce Taiwan's excellent medical technology and information manufacturers to local cooperative institutions in the future, so as to enhance Indonesia's understanding of Taiwan's medical industry and lay a foundation for industrial connection.
