In particular, transportation is an important foundation for social and economic development. Mobility and environmental protection in the industry represent the overall economic capacity, The realization of fast transmission and automatic driving of vehicle connection through 5G network is precisely the specific application of climate change and environmental protection.

        Well President pointed out that the world organizations and governments are increasingly paying attention to the issue of climate change, and net zero carbon emissions are urgent. Far EasTone Telecommunications is actively developing "Big Data+AI+IoT" (Big Data, artificial intelligence, Internet of things (IoT)) core technologies, conducting intensive internal operations, using technology to improve energy efficiency, and implementing ESG; Alliance with suppliers and partners, develop new economy, create innovative applications of digital governance, and promote low-carbon smart transportation and net zero smart city.

        At present, Taiwan's net zero path includes promoting renewable energy, developing new energy technologies such as energy storage and grid digitalization, and accelerating the implementation of electric vehicles. Far EasTone Telecommunications not only provides one-stop smart charging service, but also cooperates with Taidian to build the island's first V2G fast charging demonstration station, and introduces the solution of effective battery reuse. Through ICT and Internet of things (IoT) technology, it strengthens the integration of energy storage and power consumption resources.

        At the same time, President Jing also shared the policy of Far EasTone Telecommunications "giving priority to energy conservation, wind and photovoltaic complementation, energy storage as a supplement, and alliance with ecological chain innovation to reduce carbon", and cooperated with Xutian Energy, a subsidiary, to build solar energy by itself and purchase green electricity from outside. In 2030, 100% renewable energy will be used in IDC, offices, and stores across Taiwan, and from 2045 to 2048, the company is expected to use 100% renewable energy to achieve net zero carbon emissions. It is not only to operate effectively and create business opportunities, but also to achieve carbon reduction benefits and create a win-win situation for enterprises, society and the environment.
