First time job seeking youth stable employment plan

        The labor force in Taiwan's job market has decreased due to the shortage of children, and various industries are eager for talent. According to the "Survey on the Employment Status of Young Workers aged 15-29" conducted by the Ministry of Labor in 2023, about 85% of young workers spent three months seeking employment for the first time, and a total of 213000 young people engaged in atypical work in 2022, of which 13.15% intended to switch to formal employment. In order to encourage stable employment among young people, the Ministry of Labor has launched the "First Time Job Seeking Youth Stable Employment Program", which focuses on those who have not been employed for more than 3 months after their first job search, as well as atypical employed young people who are engaged in part-time work.         Applicable objects

        This plan is applicable to Taiwanese first-time job seekers aged 15-29 and above, who have not been studying and have not been employed for more than 90 consecutive days. The term 'initial job search' refers to those who have not purchased employment insurance, labor insurance, or occupational disaster insurance before participating in the program, or whose monthly insured salary is lower than the first level of salary under labor insurance or occupational disaster insurance (NTD 26400 in 2023).

        Job search allowance, employment assistance, and employment rewards

        Within 90 days of registering for this program, young people can receive a monthly allowance of NTD 5000 during their job search period, with a maximum of NTD 15000 issued to encourage job search and alleviate economic pressure; If you encounter difficulties and cannot find a smooth job, you can seek diverse employment assistance resources, including physical and online employment services, career counseling, assisting in resume writing, strengthening interview skills, and promoting employment. If you are employed within 90 days of participating in the program and have been continuously employed by the same employer for a certain period of time, you will be eligible for the 'Employment Award'.

                Application method

        Qualified first-time job seekers can join the "Taiwan Employment Connect" website and complete at least one "Occupational Psychological Test" in the "First Time Job Seeker Youth Stable Employment Program" section. They can apply to participate in the program and upload required documents. Subsequent inquiries and application for allowances and other related tasks will be conducted in the section. After the allowance application is approved, It will also be directly transferred to the designated financial account of the youth. The starting date of the youth program is the day after completing relevant regulations and uploading documents. The participation period in the program is within 90 days after the starting date.
