Far EasTone Telecommunications Helps Rural Area Children Realize Dreams and Embrace Future Stars

        Far EasTone Telecommunications is committed to bridging the digital divide between urban and rural areas and promoting children's development. The weightlifting team of Laiyi High School in Pingtung County (including central China) and the archery team of Ruiyuan Elementary School in Luye Township, Taitung County, sponsored by Far EasTone Telecommunications, have all performed well in this year's All China Games and other competitions. Among them, Lu Yingqi, the coach of the weightlifting team at Laiyi High School and former silver medalist in weightlifting at the Beijing Olympics, stated that many weightlifting students come from financially disadvantaged families and require external assistance. She thanked Far EasTone Telecommunications for investing resources to take care of rural area children together. Since last year, we have also sponsored the Ruiyuan Elementary School Archery Team in Luye Township, Taitung County with a brand new archery equipment, ensuring that members have no worries during practice, helping the archery team win the silver medal in the women's group below fifth grade of the 2024 Youth Cup, and have achieved excellent results in other competitions. In addition, Far EasTone Telecommunications continues to launch a fundraising program through the "Far EasTone Telecommunications Heart Charity" platform to care for rural education.
