 The 25th National Medical Quality Award Ceremony was held by the Hospital Evaluation and Medical Quality Promotion Association on January 15th, Far Eastern Memorial Hospital's 18 teams have won 24 awards, including the highest honors such as "Medical Center Group Excellent Institution" and "Smart Hospital Full Institution Logo", covering five major fields: theme based, smart healthcare, empirical medicine, simulation based, and outstanding healthcare. Far Eastern Memorial Hospital has won three outstanding medical awards, including: the Department of Orthopedics' innovative dual channel spine minimally invasive technology (UBE), which has completed over 1100 difficult surgeries, achieving an excellent record of zero infection and zero nerve damage, and successfully transferring patented technology; The Cardiovascular Medicine Center has established a 24-hour ECMO team, which has shortened the ECMO activation time to 12 minutes, significantly reducing the length of stay in the intensive care unit and improving patient discharge rates; In the field of minimally invasive liver surgery, Far Eastern Memorial Hospital has become one of the leading teams in the world with the largest number of cases and the most comprehensive application of technology, publishing over 20 innovative surgical procedures. 98% of liver resection patients choose to undergo minimally invasive surgery, and there have been no expected cases of conversion to cesarean section in the past five years, providing patients with better treatment options.
