Far Eastern Electronic Toll Collection collaborates with Department of Transport to organize the 'Dao'an Children's Club'

        In response to "Traffic Safety Month", Far Eastern Electronic Toll Collection joined hands with the Department of Transport, Taichung City Government, Highway Bureau, National Highway Police Department, Jing Chuan Child Safety Foundation, Far Eastern Memorial Foundation, and Uni President Supermarket on September 13th to hold a public welfare event called "Stop and Let Go, Safety Tag Up - Dao An Children's Club" in the Qingshui Service Area of National Highway, promoting the concept of "people-oriented transportation, stop and let go culture".

        This event is a cross disciplinary collaboration with the popular brand TOMICA, launching a limited edition co branded item for Traffic Safety Month, and creating parent-child interactive zones such as "Blind Spot Interaction" and "Elderly Slow Driving Experience" to root the concept of traffic safety in children's hearts, while cultivating empathy and respect for the road use needs of disadvantaged traffic groups.

        President Zhang Yongchang stated that Far Eastern Electronic Toll Collection and uTagGo utilize digital technology to extend ETC to parking convenience services, providing pedestrians with a more convenient and environmentally friendly driving experience. They also hope to protect vulnerable individual protection services (VIPS) such as children, the elderly, and people with hearing impairments. In the future, they will continue to call on businesses to respond to policies and use technology to support road safety and protect more families.

        Since 2018, Far Eastern Electronic Toll Collection has been participating in the Jing Chuan Child Safety Foundation's "Little Yellow Hat Project" and has jointly produced three "Children's Road Safety Digital Textbooks" and traffic safety picture books. Nearly 3000 schools have applied and reached over 300000 students, continuously narrowing the urban-rural education gap. This year, Jing Chuan Child Safety Foundation, Far Eastern Electronic Toll Collection, and uTagGo have launched the online interactive game "Off campus Teaching Safety Go", which allows teachers, students, and parents to identify potential dangerous behaviors in boarding, alighting, and parking environments through tablet learning.         On the other hand, Far Eastern Electronic Toll Collection has partnered with Quanfeng Business to launch the "Blind Spot Experience", allowing parents and children to experience the visual limitations of driving large cars through role swapping and learn how to avoid blind spots. The firsthand experience of children exclaiming through walkie talkies, 'I really can't see my mom!' helps to concretize abstract traffic risks. In addition, Far Eastern Electronic Toll Collection has collaborated with HONGDAO Senior Citizen's Welfare Foundation to guide the public to wear special glasses that simulate visual aging and carry heavy loads, experiencing the difficulties of elderly people crossing the road, and reminding drivers to think from their own perspective and show respect to traffic disadvantaged groups.

        In the future, Far Eastern Electronic Toll Collection will continue to collaborate with Far Eastern Smart uTagGo to deepen traffic safety awareness and make life safer through technology, education, and cross-border cooperation.
