My 10-year experience at Far Eastern Group Boda (Ma)

        I vaguely remember that 10 years ago, I submitted my first article to Far Eastern Magazine, titled, and was fortunate enough to have it published in the October 2015 issue. That joy remains unforgettable to this day. Today, 10 years later, with the same excitement and gratitude, I would like to share with everyone the little things I have experienced in the company over these years.

                I still remember when I graduated from college, I joined Far Eastern Group. Now in my thirties, Far Eastern Group has become an indispensable part of my life. Many colleagues, customers, and suppliers have been very important pillars in my growth process.

        Compared to today, Far Eastern Group's Boda (Ma) from 10 years ago has a similar appearance. However, during these 10 years, the company has invested in 2 new injection molding machines, installed solar panels, expanded the employee parking lot at the entrance, and added an employee pantry. Ten years ago, it was still an empty space, but now it has been upgraded to a brand new 2B conference room. These are the results of the joint efforts of the management and colleagues, step by step.

        10 years ago, I was still a small business assistant responsible for export clients. Although my qualifications were still limited, the company did not restrict my learning opportunities. Instead, they provided many courses, including Japanese language classes, English conversation classes, external sales and customer response courses, etc., encouraging everyone to learn positively. The most memorable experience was in 2016, when the company arranged for me and another colleague to participate in an external course called 'Powerful Negotiation Skills - Sales Negotiation for Win Win', which taught me a lot. After the course, we returned to the company as' little teachers' and shared what we learned in class with other colleagues.

        In 2018, the company held a Team Building and led colleagues above the executive level to the Lost World water park in Ipoh, northern Malaysia, embarking on a 3-day and 2-night journey. We have fun together, learn and grow together. In group activities and team competitions, everyone puts in their best effort, showing a different side that we usually cannot see in our work positions, and also allowing us to get to know each other better. When we shoot water guns at other team members and scream loudly in the water park, the joy of letting go of our identities and sincere interaction is still deeply imprinted in my heart.

        In my 10-year career, I have experienced success and laughter, as well as depression and anxiety, and even doubted and denied myself. But I always believe that hard work pays off, as long as we maintain our original intention and continue to work hard, we can become an outstanding Junior Staff Sales Representative. The moments that made me feel discouraged and even wanted to give up later became important nutrients in my growth process.

        Gradually, as an inexperienced business assistant, I learned step by step how to communicate with clients, handle unexpected situations, and find solutions under pressure. Not only did I improve my business skills, but I also learned how to become a professional who can handle things independently. Now, I have been promoted to Deputy Section Chief in Sales. Thank you to many seniors, supervisors, and colleagues who helped me during my most difficult times. Whether it was a word of encouragement, careful guidance, or silent support, it was a tremendous force for me at that time.

        At the 30th anniversary celebration of the company's establishment, President Fan Qinzhi mentioned in his speech that Far Eastern Group has gone through 30 years of ups and downs, from the hardships in the early stages of its establishment to the crises it faced later, and has now become an important part of the industry. In the future, I hope to continue working hand in hand with everyone to witness the growth and transformation of the company in the next 10 years.
