Far Eastern Department Stores celebrates International Retail Employee Day with Ping An Health and Sweetness in the Heart

        The "Retail Employee Day (RED)" initiative of the Intercontinental Group of Department Stores (IGDS) will be launched on December 12, 2025, to recognize the professional spirit of retail industry employees and their important role in public life. As the only member company of IGDS in Taiwan, Far Eastern Department Stores, led by Nancy Hsu President, extends gratitude and blessings to all employees during their exclusive department store days.

        In recent years, the retail industry has become one of the occupations with the largest employment population. According to the "Key Data Analysis of Labor Force Changes in Taiwan's Circulation and Life Service Industry" released by the "Future Circulation R&D Center" in 2025, the wholesale and retail industry will be the top 2 industries in terms of the number of employees employed in 2024, and it will also have the highest employment rate for college graduates in the past five years (2020-2024). However, the frequent conflicts between consumers and frontline employees in the news indicate that the retail industry has a higher demand for professionalism and patience from colleagues than many other industries. In view of this, Far Eastern Department Stores hopes to convey gratitude and appreciation to all colleagues through the celebration of "Retail Employee Day RED".

        On the day of RED, Nancy Hsu President led the senior management team of Far Eastern Department Stores to record a video together, thanking all colleagues for their dedication; Store managers across Taiwan also led a group of supervisors to offer tea to employees and counter colleagues, and sent blessings symbolizing the safety and health of "Apple".
