Yuan Ze University collaborates with Far Eastern Memorial Hospital to create an immersive career experience

        To assist high school students in understanding the medical profession and exploring their career paths, the Department of Nursing at Yuan Ze University has partnered with Far Eastern Memorial Hospital to organize the "Medical Career Experience Camp". Through visits to smart wards, clinical skills practice, and career sharing, students are introduced to the diverse aspects of the nursing profession. Many students have expressed that their impression of nursing work in the past was mostly limited to taking care of patients. After participating in activities, they realized that nursing professionals not only need to possess professional medical knowledge, but also shoulder important tasks such as clinical evaluation, medical technology application, and patient psychological care. A student shared that due to their family members serving in the hospital and their own interest in medical work, they signed up to participate. Through this experience, they further established their aspiration to enter the nursing field and hope to develop towards surgical medical work in the future.
