Far Eastern Memorial Hospital collaborates with Yogyakarta University to share Taiwan's experience in infectious disease prevention and control

        On August 31, Far Eastern Memorial Hospital cooperated with the hospital attached to Yogyakarta University in Indonesia to hold the "Taiwan India Communicable Disease Prevention Seminar", which aimed to exchange views on tuberculosis and dengue fever, two important infectious disease prevention issues in Indonesia, and share Taiwan's experience in disease monitoring, clinical care, community prevention and control, as well as epidemic prevention combined with innovative technology, hoping to strengthen regional health resilience.

        This seminar was led by Vice President Zhang Shuwen of Far Eastern Memorial Hospital, and invited Dr. Liao Lunde from National Health Research Institutes (Taiwan) and Dr. Chen Hongen from Far Eastern Memorial Hospital's Department of Infectious Diseases to participate. Vice Dean Zhang Shuwen stated that this year marks the first year of cooperation between Far Eastern Memorial Hospital and Yogyakarta University Hospital. In addition to continuing to promote exchanges in smart healthcare and digital health, the hospital will also focus on infectious disease prevention and control, sharing Taiwan's successful experience.
