元智大学研发PEMWE电解技术 可预测多项疾病获专利

元智大学机械系钟国滨教授率团队发展创新PEMWE电解技术,利用质子交换膜将水(H2O)电解直接制造高纯度氢分子、高压氧气、医疗级超氧等高品质气体,不但可让食品保鲜,养殖水循环有效管理,还可运用於预测多种疾病,包括:糖尿病、听力受损、心血管疾病、脊髓损伤之综合治疗的可行性,获得台湾专利与两岸创业认同。
钟国滨教授表示,此研究利用质子交换膜将水(H2O)电解直接制造高纯度氢分子、高压氧气、医疗级超氧等高品质气体,且实证应於能源(氢燃料电池)、食品保鲜(肉类与土司之常温保存)、医疗设备消毒(血液透析仪之低耗水消毒)、农业(豆类之生长促进)、渔业(养殖水的处理与循环再利用)等领域,并预测运用於多种疾病(糖尿病、听力受损、心血管疾病、脊髓损伤)之综合治疗的可行性。
YZU PEMWE for disease prediction earns patents
Directed by Professor Guo-bin Jung (钟国滨), Department of Mechanical Engineering, the YZU research team develops the innovative PEMWE electrolysis technology. The team uses proton exchange membrane to decompose water into hydrogen and oxygen and produce several kinds of high-quality gas, such as high purity hydrogen molecules, high-pressure oxygen, and super oxygen. This technology has a broad range of applications in food preservation, recirculating aquaculture system, and predictive medicine (diabetes, hearing loss, cardiovascular disease, and spinal cord injury). The team has earned several patents in Taiwan and opportunities of cross-strait business collaboration.
Professor Jung says PEMWE has a viriety of applications, including energy development (hydrogen fuel cell), food preservation (keeping meat and toast at room temperature), medical equipment disinfection (water use for disinfection of hemodialyzer), agriculture (growth promotion of legumes), fisheries (treatment and recycling of aquaculture water), and forecasting for use in a variety of diseases (diabetes, hearing loss, heart Vascular disease, spinal cord injury). #
