Winners of the 2019 Department Store Association Competition

        Winners of the 2019 annual competition of Association of Department Store and Retail Enterprises were released. Far Eastern Department Store is recognized for its efforts in corporate social responsibility and will represent Association of Department Store and Retail Enterprises in the online selection of the Asia-Pacific CSR Awards of FARPR. Far Eastern Big City Shopping Malls won the "Annual Department Store Model Award" while Liao Yihan of Mega City Banqiao Far Eastern Department Store won the "Excellent Employee Model".
Mr. Zhu Haobo, Deputy Director of Business Development and Policy Research Center, Business Development and Policy Research Institute, worked as the chief judge of 2019 annual competition of Association of Department Store and Retail Enterprises. The judges included Mr. Zhang Yuquan, General Manager of Wisdom Fashion Co., Ltd., Professor Liao Shuling, Marketing Group of College of Management of Yuan Ze University, and two media personalities: Lin Hai, reporter of Apple Daily, Li Liman, reporter of the Business Times. They selected the winners from the multiple perspective of the Combination of Industry, Official and University.
The FAPRA Online Awards Asia-Pacific CSR Award held every two years is a great challenge for Taiwan's department store and retail industry. After being recognized at home, it will compete for the Best Efforts in Social Responsibility Award. Far Eastern Department Store has always spared no effort in corporate social responsibility. This year, Far Eastern Department Store won the award for "Creating a Better Life for Sustainable Development ~ Welcome a Better Life with Greening Consumption, Charity and Intelligent New Retail and Consumption ".

Far Eastern Big City Shopping Malls, who won the Department Retail Enterprise Association's "Model Prize for Department Retail Enterprises", started with the theme "Big City Innovative Smart Retail-Move Towards Intelligent Shopping Malls with clicks and mortar ", and stood out in nine proposals of the Master Innovative Retail Award. And it received the FAPRA Country Award 2019 in the closing ceremony of the APRCE which was not an easy thing.
There were 14 excellent employee models competing in the competition. Liao Yihan, who served in the Banqiao branch of Far Eastern Department Store, won the recognition of "model" and will participate in the delegation of APRCE to broaden the international horizon. Since the opening of Far Eastern Department Store in Banqiao, its performance has been growing year by year. It has stabilized the leading position of New Taipei Department Store. Liao Yihan, as a research supervisor, has played an excellent role in the planning of activities. He often seeks for a combination of different industries under a limited budget, and achieved highly effective activity values through combination of popular movies, art and literature and large-scale events which brings people and topics to the Banqiao Far Eastern Department Store and creates infinite possibilities. #
