The R20xYZU Climate Change Sustainable Issues Summit Forum will be open for registration from now on

        In order to encourage people from all walks of life to pay attention to the sustainable issues of climate change, Yuan Ze University strongly invited the R20 Regional Organization for Climate Action to Taiwan to hold the R20xYZU Summit Forum on Sustainable Issues of Climate Change at the Far Eastern Group Shangri La Hotel in Taipei on October 11 ̀ Ms. le Sabban and Martin Lindstro of IKEA Group ̈ M The CEO, together with the audience, discussed the important issues of global climate change and sustainability, and invited the sustainability directors and CEOs of 100 major enterprises, such as Far Eastern New Century Corporation Humphrey Cheng President, Yuan Ze University President Liao Qingrong, Taiwan Institute for Sustainable Energy Chairman Jane Youxin, to be the keynote guests, The in-depth discussion was conducted under the two themes of "Net Zero Transformation and Net Zero Business Opportunity" and "ESG and Citizenship", so that participants could better understand the concept of ESG and experience the implementation and contribution of Taiwan's enterprises to environmental sustainability and corporate responsibility.

        R20 (R20 Climate Action Regional Organization), which came to Taiwan for the first time, is a non-profit organization established by Arnold Schwarzenegger, the former governor of California, in 2011, in cooperation with several major countries and with the support of the United Nations. The forum was hosted by Yuan Ze University, and co sponsored by Xu Yuan Ze University Memorial Foundation, Far Eastern New Century Corporation, Far Eastern Electronic Toll Collection, U-Ming Marine Transport, Far Eastone Telecommunications, Far Eastern International Bank, Far Eastern Department Stores and other enterprises, Attendees can not only obtain the participation certificate jointly issued by the R20 Regional Climate Action Organization, R20 Green Women's Foundation and Yuan Ze University, but also sign a proposal with the R20 Regional Climate Action Organization to commit to integrating climate change issues and sustainability development into the enterprise's medium - and long-term planning. In addition to fulfilling corporate social responsibility, we can also strengthen our corporate image and popularity through activities. For the future forums or activities held by R20, the organizations participating in the initiative can also give priority to the status of development in Asia.
