FE SOGO Department stores promote sustainable green living

        FE SOGO Department stores in Hsinchu are committed to promoting sustainable living and creating a benchmark for green department stores. They not only build their own solar panels, but can generate at least 465000 kilowatt hours of electricity annually. In the past three years, they have generated over 1.6 million kilowatt hours of electricity, reducing carbon emissions by 825 tons, equivalent to the carbon absorption of five Hsinchu parks. Volunteers also went to the environmental recycling station in Hsinchu, Tzu Chi on February 8th to assist in resource recycling, and indeed implemented 5R: Refuse (not used), Reduce (less used) Reuse, Repair, and Cycle are dedicated to environmental protection.
