        In the past three years, due to the resurgence of the epidemic, many people dare not go out to exercise, let alone enter and exit medical institutions; Nowadays, epidemic prevention measures are gradually being relaxed, and the Taipei City Government has specially planned health screening activities for citizens, and paired them with the "Good Fitness Collection - Taipei Health Collection Point Activity" to encourage people to embrace a healthy new life!

        According to the latest statistics of the Ministry of Health and Welfare, among the top ten causes of death in Taipei in 2021, chronic diseases include 8, which are ranked according to the mortality rate as follows: malignant tumor, heart disease, cerebrovascular disease, diabetes, chronic lower respiratory tract disease, hypertension, nephritis/nephrotic syndrome and kidney disease, vascular and unspecified dementia. The way to prevent is not only to exercise regularly and eat a balanced diet, but also to cooperate with regular health checks. During the severe epidemic period, many people were worried about going out and getting infected, so they were unable to seek medical attention immediately, resulting in a worsening of the condition. With the gradual relaxation of epidemic control and the gradual implementation of community health check ups, cancer screening and adult health checks in Taipei City increased by approximately 56000 people in 2022 compared to 2021, but still decreased by nearly 90000 people compared to before the epidemic (2019).

        To encourage the public to restore their habit of regular physical examinations, the Taipei City Government Health Bureau has expanded the organization of 131 free integrated health screenings this year (compared to 59 in 2022); In addition to increasing the number of sessions, we have also upgraded our service offerings to provide four cancer screening services (cervical cancer, breast cancer, colorectal cancer, oral cancer), adult health checks, and hepatitis B and C screening. Additionally, we have added public lung cancer screening (LDCT) referral and online appointment services.         3. Low dose computed tomography (LDCT) examination of the lungs, due to venue limitations, only some sessions provide appointment and referral services.

        4. The screening qualification shall be subject to on-site confirmation of health insurance card passing.
