ETag deducts roadside parking fees, and new users in Hualien County and Miaoli County can enjoy a 60% discount

        Since March 28 of Far Eastern Electronic Toll Collection "eTag roadside parking withholding service", Hualien County and Miaoli County have been newly added to the applicable areas. At present, more than 95% of the roadside parking spaces in 16 counties and cities of Taiwan can use eTag to withhold roadside parking fees, improving the parking convenience of the public. In addition, following Hsinchu County and City, the uTagGo App has also launched a roadside parking check and pay service in Kaohsiung City. New users who use mobile payment for roadside parking fees for the first time can enjoy up to a 60% discount.

        As long as people stick eTags on their cars, they can use the uTagGO app or quickly apply for eTag smart parking automatic withholding service through any of the five joint banks, including "Far Eastern International Bank, Cathay Pacific, Taishin International Bank, E.SUN Bank, or CITIC". In the future, there will be no need to hold a ticket to pay fees at supermarkets in cooperative areas. The accumulated HAPPY GO points from parking can also be exchanged for national highway tolls.

        For users who are not eTag smart parking, on March 1st, the uTagGo app launched a new feature in the Hsinchu area, which allows users to quickly pay, query, and integrate local unpaid parking fees by opening the uTagGo app, scanning the payment receipt code, or entering the car number. In just a few days, nearly a thousand users have accumulated.
