Far Eastern International Bank assists rural areas in summer nutrition for school children without holidays

        Schools at all levels are gradually opening, which means that some rural area students can have nutritious lunches every day. The rural area school feeding program, the "ESG Reading Donation Meal" activity, which is a collaboration between Far Eastern International Bank and Eden Social Welfare Foundation, will also come to an end. This plan is organized by Far Eastern International Bank to organize an ESG New Knowledge Learning Activity for colleagues. In conjunction with the "Read More Love" project, employees are encouraged to attend up to 300 online courses, and the bank will sponsor a summer meal for an Eden rural area student. Under the enthusiastic response of colleagues, a total of 100 rural area students were sponsored.

        Overseas parent-child tour groups and various summer camp activities always associate summer vacation with joy, but for students who need nutritious lunches at school, having summer vacation is their problem. The Eden Social Welfare Foundation states that many rural area children may miss the golden age of development and find it difficult to boost their mental focus on learning due to inadequate family care functions, resulting in being unable to feed themselves with three meals, and may even be unable to sustain themselves. Far Eastern International Bank is concerned about the future of school children, and has partnered with the Eden Social Welfare Foundation to donate rural area summer meals to ensure that children continue to receive nutrition during holidays, grow up with peace of mind and health, have more vitality to receive education, absorb knowledge, and become a source of strength for children's growth.

The Eden Love Card, issued by Eden Social Welfare Foundation, provides a fixed allocation of 0.3% of each cardholder's consumption to the foundation as funding for early care services for children with disabilities before the age of 6, helping slow flying angels and their families, and creating a 26 year uninterrupted donation record.
