Yuan Ze University Sparks Hope for Rural Areas in the Future of Education Peers' Glory

        Yuan Ze University has been promoting the University Social Responsibility (USR) program for a long time, assisting in improving rural areas education. In order to promote cross school cooperation and invest in local development, a special SIG (Special Interest Group) joint training and exchange event was held on October 17th. Together with the Education Bureau of Taoyuan City, principals and chiefs of primary and secondary schools, non-profit education foundations, and USR teams from multiple universities, we will pay attention to the development of urban and rural education and implement the spirit of deepening local sustainable practice.

        Principal Liao Qingrong stated that the fourth sustainability development goal of the United Nations is high-quality education, advocating for fair and high-quality learning opportunities. He believes that under the promotion of the USR program, the improvement of the rural area teaching environment can be accelerated. Through the SIG joint training conference, various schools can observe and exchange ideas, allowing local governments and field teachers to understand the significance and contribution of higher education to local education development. Lai Yinkui, Deputy Director of the Education Bureau of Taoyuan City, also attended the scene and praised Yuan Ze University's global cultural navigation plan for continuously promoting bilingual education and international education.

        This event invites multiple universities to share their implementation achievements, including National Taiwan University of Science and Technology's "I-Villages Urban Rural Hand in Hand Series Plan" and National Changhua Normal University's "Baisha × Sharing teaching experience in rural areas through the Education Foundation of "Mutual Benefit - Deeply Cultivate on the Ground and Move Forward", "Dadu Mountain Education - Local Creativity" at Donghai University, and "Teaching for Taiwan". The registration and participation team is also very enthusiastic. The principals of seven elementary schools, including Yongfeng High School, Huaxun Elementary School, Dahu Elementary School, and Plateau Elementary School, as well as Zheng Lihua, the head of Kuaiji Village, Wei Kunnan, the chairman of Yuan Ze University Alumni Association, and several primary and secondary section chiefs and teachers from Dayuan Elementary School, as well as Yangming National Chiao Tung University and National Central University The USR teams from six universities, including National Cheng Kung University, all participated in the grand event.

For example, the Universal Cultural Navigation Program has been upgraded to a deep cultivation program, and both Aida Information Training and Green Recycled Economy have achieved remarkable results.
