My secret base

        The "Wufeng Junior High School" playground located at 253 Zhongxing Road Section 1, Xindian District, New Taipei City is the busiest playground I have ever seen. Its area is moderate, just enough to accommodate people of all ages and genders who come here for fitness. Despite the hustle and bustle on the field, everyone acted independently of each other, giving a sense of inexplicable peace of mind. That's right, my secret base is the Wufeng playground, which doesn't seem to be "secret" at all.

                The standard length track, adjacent volleyball court, and basketball court... The playground at Wufeng Junior High School doesn't look much different from other playgrounds. To be special, it is probably adjacent to a residential area, and the wall separating the track is the bustling Zhongxing Road. Therefore, whenever running on this road, in order to avoid being exposed to car exhaust, one can only motivate themselves to run faster.

        On a clear morning, I accidentally stumbled into this rubber field and couldn't help but be attracted by its hot atmosphere. I walked around the track one lap after another. Two muscular runners ran past me time and time again, each bringing a gust of wind.

        From then on, I became acquainted with this place, just like meeting a new friend who was destined for me. After every conversation, the sense of familiarity gradually increased; Before we parted ways, I couldn't help but look forward to our next meeting.

        On the open space here, there are always people stretching their legs, and on the sports field, there are walking couples, gray haired old men... everyone is full of vitality. Occasionally, a person running vigorously, carrying a heavy sound absorption, hot air and sweat, passes by me and disappears without a trace in the blink of an eye. Everyone who comes here generously unleashes their vitality, stretching their limbs, moving their joints, and blooming with vigorous vitality.

        I ran and stopped freely on the track, and my aunt, who was quickly left behind by me, sang an unknown old song loudly in Taiwanese, her expression intoxicated and happy. What a wonderful and passionate place! I guess that aunt must feel the same way.

        When I am tired, I come here to empty my mind and reflect on the streets and alleys I have walked in Taiwan; When I am full of energy, I run wildly here, leaving those insignificant trivial troubles far behind; The drizzle hit the face, and the flowers, trees, and fallen leaves beside the bend bear the weight of the rain and dew, falling straight down; The red rubber particles on the track accidentally got into my shoes... These have become the little universe I gained in Taipei.

        Yes, this place is enough to place the soul and make me feel the warmth and kindness of the human heart. Whether it's tall trees or smiling people, everyone draws on the nutrients of nature and releases positive energy in the operation of life. As long as you put in your heart, you can experience it. This is the secret base that helps me build a strong physique and immerse myself in peace.
