 On August 22, the Taiwan Smart Building Association held the "2024 TIBA AWARD Taiwan Excellent Smart Green Building and System Product Award" ceremony and work presentation. Far EasTone Telecommunication, with its "Far EasTone Telecommunication Big Data+AI+IoT" technology and strong ICT construction capabilities, created the "Operation Platform Management System" for the Kaohsiung Port Tourism Center and won the highest honor in the system category, the "Platinum Award"; Far Eastern Resources Development is also based on "sustainability" and "intelligence", gradually constructing the Taipei Far Eastern Group Communication Park (Tpark) into an international low-carbon intelligent park, which has won the "Platinum Award" in the operational category, demonstrating the excellent innovation and integration capabilities of the two companies.

Far EasTone Telecommunication's award-winning "Operation Platform Management System" connects the "Smart Operation Management Platform" with four management modules: "Smart Building Management, Smart Microgrid Management, Property Facility Management, and Smart Environmental Control Management". The five layer architecture is vertically linked and horizontally integrated, and uses full system data collection and Big Data analysis applications to achieve prediction and warning. Combined with the flying perspective and Digital Twins 3D innovative technology, it creates a strategic decision-making center, greatly improving the management and operation efficiency of the tourism center.
Among them, the "Smart Building Management" module integrates access control, fire protection, smoke exhaust and ventilation, hot spot display for pedestrian flow, etc; The "Smart Microgrid Management" module integrates building systems such as solar energy, energy storage, and energy conservation. It not only adjusts demand to avoid exceeding electricity limits, but also improves power supply stability. It can also assist management units in verifying electricity consumption, managing, and promoting energy-saving measures through the analysis of building energy consumption behavior databases. Annual statistics show that self use and energy-saving benefits have exceeded tens of millions of yuan.
In addition, the "Property Facility Management" module integrates systems such as mechanical and electrical facilities, smart parking, and smart reception, providing real-time alerts to assist management units in quickly resolving issues and optimizing scheduling manpower to achieve optimal operational management; The "Smart Environmental Control Management" module integrates functions such as temperature and humidity, air quality detection, and flooding detection, providing a safe and comfortable environment through environmental sensing and data analysis.

The Far Eastern Group Communication Park (Tpark) in Taipei has been developing for over a decade, committed to enhancing building digitization and integrating low-carbon operation concepts. With its own park management experience combined with the latest technology, it has joined an innovative thinking integrated management platform; At the same time, implement the BIM model for the engineering phase, and connect it with the Facility Management (FM) system and Building Automation (BA) system for maintenance and operation management. Integrate accounting, logistics administration, suppliers and other systems to create a comprehensive intelligent management platform for park management. This not only reduces the time and construction gaps caused by overlapping drawings, but also records the complete history of facilities or equipment as digital information required for operation and maintenance, greatly improving the efficiency of maintenance and operation management. In order to comply with the government's net zero carbon reduction policy, we have independently developed a carbon management system to control carbon emissions, supplemented by AI technology to achieve carbon reduction goals. This carbon emission system is simultaneously open for use by park tenants, working together towards net zero.
The TPKP three-dimensional parking tower in the park will be put into operation by the end of 2023, implementing the concept of "low-carbon sustainability" and "intelligent management" in the park. It is the first fully prefabricated circular parking tower in Taiwan. Compared with traditional construction methods, its fully prefabricated construction method can reduce carbon emissions by about 50%, greatly reducing environmental pollution caused by construction projects. Through smart parking management, smart light control, environmental monitoring and other systems, technology optimization management is used to improve efficiency and reduce operating costs, making it one of the representatives of excellent smart green buildings in Taiwan.
