Mobile phone recycling month is running! Far EasTone Telecommunication offers an additional $1000 shopping bonus
Far EasTone Telecommunications by Liu Zhiwei /
Far EasTone Telecommunication responds to the "Mobile Phone Recycling Month" organized by the Resource Recycling Agency in October. From now until October 31st, the public can bring any brand of discarded mobile phones to Far EasTone Telecommunication physical stores for recycling. They have the opportunity to win prizes such as iPhone 16 and Asus laptops, and receive an additional NTD1000 designated energy-saving home appliance shopping gold from Far EasTone Telecommunication. Welcome to join us in promoting environmental protection.
Consumers who successfully recycle their discarded mobile phones at Far EasTone Telecommunications store will receive a text message of the lottery number from the Resource Recycling Agency. They will be eligible to participate in the lottery by filling out the lottery number and basic information online before 12:00 noon on November 13, 2024. Please keep the lottery number properly as proof of redemption.
In addition to recycling discarded phones, Far EasTone Telecommunication has also launched the "Give Me the Old Phone, Take the New Phone with You" campaign for second-hand phones that can still be used. Before October 31st, all Far EasTone Telecommunication users can bring their old phones to Far EasTone Telecommunication stores across Taiwan and use the "Far EasTone Telecommunication Trade in App" to estimate the recycling amount. The highest amount for recycling old phones can be discounted to NTD35000 in cash. Exchange for popular designated models such as iPhone 16, Samsung, OPPO, ASUS, Vivo, etc., and receive an additional subsidy of up to NTD5000 for old to new exchanges. For details of the promotion, please refer to: https://fetnet.tw/YUPJP5 .
Abandoned mobile phones can be left unused for a long time, and the built-in lithium battery is prone to expansion and explosion risks. If discarded or disassembled at will, harmful substances such as lead and mercury contained in the phone may cause serious environmental pollution. Far EasTone Telecommunication is actively involved in recycling mobile phones to promote environmental sustainability. They have set up recycling bins in approximately 640 retail locations across Taiwan, providing consumers with free recycling of used mobile phones, wires, and batteries. They also produce short videos to promote relevant information and have been repeatedly rated as a "gold level" enterprise by the Ministry of Environment's Resource and Environmental Protection Agency.
