Asia Eastern University of Science and Technology celebrates its 56th anniversary of founding

        On October 20th, Asia Eastern University of Science and Technology held its 56th anniversary celebration ceremony and alumni conference, Distinguished guests such as Far Eastern Group Douglas Hsu, Far Eastern Memorial Hospital Dr. Chiu, President Kuanming, and Yuan Ze University President Liao Qingrong all attended the grand event. Douglas Hsu encourages teachers and students to face the rapidly changing situation with new thinking and new patterns, and to strive for overseas exchange studies or industry internships, to adapt to global trends and enhance connections with enterprises, and to become international talents. Under the pressure of declining birth rates in various schools, The enrollment rate of Asia Eastern University of Science and Technology this year has exceeded 90%, and the school fund is stable. It has performed outstandingly among private universities and deserves recognition.

        Douglas Hsu urges Oriental Petrochemical (Taiwan) faculty and students

        Douglas Hsu pointed out that despite the unprecedented impact of AI technology on the industry, Far Eastern Group's synthetic and polyester fiber businesses still lead the world with innovative technology, developing sweat wicking, breathable, and warm fabrics, demonstrating that companies need steps and strategies to stand undefeated. Therefore, mastering the latest technological developments and maintaining a mindset of change are necessary to have better prospects.

        Alumni Conference Gathers First

        On October 20th, the Asia Eastern University of Science and Technology Alumni Association held its 10th Third Board of Directors Meeting and 56th Anniversary Alumni Meeting simultaneously. The chairman of the alumni association, Lin Boxiu, invited President Huang Maoquan, Honorary Chairman Gao Shuxun, Honorary Chairman Pu Weicheng, members of the 10th Board of Directors, and many outstanding alumni to gather at Oriental Petrochemical (Taiwan). In addition, a new logo titled "New Taipei Asia Eastern University of Science and Technology Alumni Association Logo" was launched on September 20th, hoping to bring a fresh start with the new name. In the future, courses will be offered to provide lifelong learning opportunities for alumni and more comprehensive benefits.

        Principal Huang Maoquan stated that, Asia Eastern University of Science and Technology was transformed from a vocational college to a technical college, and then renamed as a university of science and technology. In addition to thanking the board of directors for their strong support and resources, as well as the joint efforts of all faculty and students, we also appreciate the assistance of alumni and various sectors of society, which has enabled the university to achieve outstanding results in teaching, research, and collaboration between industry and school.
