During the COP29 conference, only participants recognized by the United Nations Framework Convention on Climate Change (UNFCCC), including government delegations, heads of state, observers, and media, were allowed to enter the Blue Zone.

In addition, the speech specifically mentioned Far Eastern New Century Corporation's five major strategies for carbon reduction, striving to achieve the 2025 carbon reduction target ahead of schedule by 2023, and redefining new low-carbon transformation goals for 2030: reducing greenhouse gas emissions by 50%, green products accounting for 50%, and green raw materials accounting for 50%, demonstrating a strong determination to reduce carbon emissions, surpassing international standards, and actively moving towards net zero emissions by 2050.
