Yuan Ze University collaborates with Bravigaya, Indonesia to expand a new chapter of cross-cultural exchange

 The delegation from Brawijaya University in Indonesia was invited by the Ministry of Education to visit Yuan Ze University, and a memorandum of academic cooperation was signed by President Liao Qingrong and President Widodo, officially establishing sister schools. The visit focused on deepening student exchanges and internship cooperation, as well as exploring issues such as joint publication of academic papers by professors from both universities, reflecting the commitment and vision for establishing long-term cooperation.
During the visit of the delegation from Bravija University, they visited the Human Factors Engineering and Design Laboratory of the Department of Industrial Engineering and Management at Yuan Ze University. The laboratory members included several Indonesian doctoral and master's students, showcasing the university's achievements in implementing international education and receiving unanimous recognition from the delegation. Professor Fashako from the Department of Electrical Engineering at Yuan Ze University in Indonesia also shared his academic experience at Yuan Ze University during the meeting, adding warmth and depth to the exchange.
Bravigaya University is located in Malang City, East Java Province, Indonesia. It is one of the most prestigious national universities in Indonesia, with five colleges covering 18 departments and 221 programs. The university has a student population of 74942 and a faculty team of 2292 lecturers. According to the 2024 QS World University Rankings, the University of Braga is ranked 5th in Indonesia and 49th in Asia. Its academic strength is among the top in the country in areas such as accounting, communication studies, and civil engineering. President Liao Qingrong stated that in 2018, Yuan Ze University's School of Management partnered with the School of Economics and Business at the University of Braga to launch a dual doctoral degree program. The two schools' School of Electrical Engineering also established a stable relationship through multiple visits. This signing further deepens the scope of cooperation and aims to create more opportunities for academic and cross-cultural exchanges between teachers and students.
