Far EasTone Telecommunications and Ya Tung Ready Mixed Concrete Corporation have been awarded the BSI ESG Sustainability Development Award

        The British Standards Institution (BSI) International Standards Management Annual Conference announced the winners of the "2024 ESG Sustainability Development Award" in November, Far EasTone Telecommunications utilizes telecommunications technology and "Big Data+AI+IoT" (Big Data, AI, and AI) The Internet of Things (IoT) application promotes sustainability and has been awarded the first ESG Sustainability Development - Excellence Award. In addition to being the only telecommunications company to receive this award, it has also been awarded the Sustainability Award at the BSI Annual Conference for three consecutive years, making it a benchmark enterprise for sustainability in Taiwan. In addition, Ya Tung Ready Mixed Concrete Corporation also practices carbon reduction and green innovation with foresight and strategy, driving the industry towards sustainability development and winning the "ESG Sustainability Development - Leading Award". This award demonstrates that Far Eastern Group's companies have been recognized for their outstanding performance in addressing environmental (E), social responsibility (S), and governance (G) issues through core technologies.

It was selected as the "DJSI DJSI World" with the highest score in the global telecommunications industry and was awarded the "World Sustainable Citizen Award" by Common Wealth Magazine for its first place in the telecommunications industry. Since 2023, it has been the first to achieve a net zero scenario through SBTi's scientific reduction goal, promising to achieve net zero by 2048.
