Far Eastern General Construction Inc. has won the bid for the construction of National Highway 1A

        Far Eastern General Construction Inc. has won bids 3 and 2 for the construction of National Highway 1A, and will commence construction in the near future. This project plays a key role in driving the development of industries around Taoyuan Airport and is one of the major national highway constructions promoted by the Department of Transport Highway Bureau this year. It aims to optimize the high-speed/expressway network throughout Taiwan and alleviate traffic bottlenecks in urban areas.

        The third section of the new construction project of National Highway 1A (Taoyuan Aviation City North Link Expressway) is a tunnel diameter project, which greatly tests the technical skills of the engineering team due to its complex geology and high risks; The second section of National Highway 1A includes different structures such as elevated bridges, tunnels, and subways, and connects Taiwan Provincial Highway 61 with Taoyuan Provincial Highway A (Section 2), which is a key expressway around Taoyuan Airport. Both of the above proposals are considered extremely important projects. Far Eastern General Construction Inc. and Dongpi Construction (Stock) Company jointly bid for the "Third Bid of National Highway 1A New Construction Project and the Office and Warehouse Improvement Project of Highway Bureau Taiguan Park", as well as the "Second Bid of National Highway 1A New Construction Project" jointly bid with Chunyuan Construction (Stock) Company, ranking first. After a majority resolution of the attending committee members, they are the most advantageous bidders.
