        At this year's Yuan Ze University anniversary ceremony, a video titled "Yuan Ze University 37.AI Time Record" made the attending guests feel like they were in a time machine, reviewing every step of Yuan Ze University's growth from a barren land to today's towering institution. At the end of the film, AI technology is used to recreate the figure of the late founder Yu Xiang Hsu and his earnest expectations. The avant-garde technology inherits unparalleled warmth and profound emotions, deeply touching the hearts of every audience member.

                The video just played uses AI technology to generate images and music, leading us to review the journey of Yuan Ze University from its founding of Hall 1 to Hall 7. I believe that every person present at Yuan Ze University, like me, was deeply moved by these scenes. Especially in the final conversation of Mr. Yu Xiang Hsu, the founder of the film, although presented through AI technology, the text in it is exactly the founder's true philosophy and expectations at that time. After reading it, it made us deeply feel the ideals, beliefs, and determination of Yuan Ze University when it was founded, and also reminded us to continue to work hard to make Yuan Ze University better.

        The motto of Yuan Ze University is "sincerity, diligence, simplicity, prudence, and innovation". Over the years, we have always regarded these words as the core spirit of our education, and "innovation" is an important driving force for Yuan Ze University to continue to move forward. In the past year, the school has demonstrated considerable innovative and fruitful achievements in teaching, research, international cooperation, and campus construction. These achievements are the result of the joint efforts of all faculty and students, and we would like to express our special thanks to the board of directors for their long-term and stable support.

        Looking ahead to the future, Yuan Ze University is continuously moving towards the following important directions——

        Strengthening the connection between technology and industry: This year, our "Semiconductor and Environmental Science Center Building" is about to start construction. The entire building has four floors, with the first and second floors serving as the semiconductor center, and the third and fourth floors planned as the environmental science center space. It is expected to be completed within one year. Taiwan has attracted worldwide attention for its semiconductor industry, and Yuan Ze University also hopes to further integrate teaching, research, and collaboration between industry and school through this center, and establish partnerships with more international high-quality universities to jointly cultivate the next generation of technological talents. We have currently negotiated dual degree programs and cooperative programs related to semiconductors with multiple universities in Japan, India, and the United States, and will continue to deepen and expand in the future.

        Comprehensively promoting AI education: If you search for "Taiwan's first university to make AI a mandatory requirement" on Google or AI tools, you will get the same answer - Yuan Ze University. We not only make AI a mandatory course, but also plan 12 to 15 credit AI courses in each department. AI is not just a tool, but also a new fundamental ability. Therefore, in the era of AI, we hope that every student at Yuan Ze University can make good use of AI, master AI, and create value from AI, becoming a leader in the AI era rather than being replaced by AI.

        Continuously deepening internationalization: In recent years, Yuan Ze University has made great progress in international students, international teachers, EMI courses, Chinese language student enrollment, and international cooperation. Last year, Yuan Ze University was awarded the "International Progress Award" by QS; In the internationalization index of the Times World University Rankings, it also ranks among the top. We hope that Yuan Ze University can become the most international university in Taiwan, allowing students to connect with the world on campus.

        Faced with the increasingly severe environment of higher education in the future, if universities only maintain their status, they will find it difficult to achieve long-term success. Therefore, Yuan Ze University's direction is very clear: the more difficult the environment, the more we need to innovate; The more difficult the challenge, the more we need to move forward. As the founder just said in the video, "We not only pursue excellence, but also soar and challenge the limits of the unknown

        This sentence is not only an expectation for Yuan Ze University, but also a belief that leads us to continue moving forward. The history of a university is not just the accumulation of time, but the joint efforts of generation after generation of Yuan Ze University people.
