　　昏昏欲睡的午後，最適合來杯好喝的手搖飲，讓辦公室的氣氛活絡起來。但是您知道泡沫紅茶的英文怎麼說嗎？想在飲料中添加配料又該怎麼點？本期「英文小教室」讓您一次搞懂各種說法。

Conversation（情境對話）

It is 2:30 p.m. and the office employees want to have something refreshing to drink. After talking to several colleagues, Vivian walked over to John, who just relocated to Taipei from Texas.（現在是下午 2:30，辦公室同事們想喝點飲料提振精神。與幾位同事討論後，Vivian走到剛從德州搬到臺北的John身邊。）

Vivian：Hi John, are you busy？（嗨，John，你正在忙嗎？）

John：Just finishing up an email. What’s up？（剛完成一封電子郵件。什麼事？）

Vivian：We’re planning on getting some drinks delivered. Would you like anything from the menu？（我們打算請人外送飲料。你想要菜單上的任何東西嗎？）

John：I’d love a bubble milk tea. I’d like a red tea without toppings. I learned this in Taiwan. It’s called red tea but it’s actually black tea in English.（我愛泡沬奶茶。我想要一杯沒有配料的紅茶。我是在臺灣學的。它被稱為紅茶，但實際上英文是黑茶。）

Vivian：Sure. Do you want sugar？（是的。你要糖嗎？）

John：Yeah. Regular is okay.（要。全糖沒問題。）

Vivian：So that’s a bubble milk tea with sugar. Right? We will call you when it arrives.（所以是加糖的泡沫奶茶。對吧？我們會在送達時打電話給你。）

John：Cool！ Thanks！（太棒了！謝謝！）

Sweetness（甜度）

Ingredients（成分）

Flavorings（調味）

Means other ingredients that change the flavor of milk tea such as chocolate, almond, taro milk, pudding milk and many others.（指能改變奶茶風味的其他原料，例如：巧克力、杏仁、芋頭牛奶、布丁牛奶…等）

Toppings（配料）

Means other ingredients that add texture, usually something chewy, such as tapioca, grass jelly, fig jelly, coconut jelly, chia seeds and many others.（指其他能增添口感的配料，通常是有嚼勁的東西，例如：木薯粉（粉圓／珍珠）、仙草、愛玉、椰果，奇亞籽…等）
