　　昏昏欲睡的午后，最适合来杯好喝的手摇饮，让办公室的气氛活络起来。但是您知道泡沫红茶的英文怎么说吗？想在饮料中添加配料又该怎么点？本期「英文小教室」让您一次搞懂各种说法。

Conversation（情境对话）

It is 2:30 p.m. and the office employees want to have something refreshing to drink. After talking to several colleagues, Vivian walked over to John, who just relocated to Taipei from Texas.（现在是下午 2:30，办公室同事们想喝点饮料提振精神。与几位同事讨论后，Vivian走到刚从德州搬到台北的John身边。）

Vivian：Hi John, are you busy？（嗨，John，你正在忙吗？）

John：Just finishing up an email. What’s up？（刚完成一封电子邮件。什么事？）

Vivian：We’re planning on getting some drinks delivered. Would you like anything from the menu？（我们打算请人外送饮料。你想要菜单上的任何东西吗？）

John：I’d love a bubble milk tea. I’d like a red tea without toppings. I learned this in Taiwan. It’s called red tea but it’s actually black tea in English.（我爱泡沬奶茶。我想要一杯没有配料的红茶。我是在台湾学的。它被称为红茶，但实际上英文是黑茶。）

Vivian：Sure. Do you want sugar？（是的。你要糖吗？）

John：Yeah. Regular is okay.（要。全糖没问题。）

Vivian：So that’s a bubble milk tea with sugar. Right? We will call you when it arrives.（所以是加糖的泡沫奶茶。对吧？我们会在送达时打电话给你。）

John：Cool！ Thanks！（太棒了！谢谢！）

Ingredients（成分）

Flavorings（调味）

Means other ingredients that change the flavor of milk tea such as chocolate, almond, taro milk, pudding milk and many others.（指能改变奶茶风味的其他原料，例如：巧克力、杏仁、芋头牛奶、布丁牛奶…等）

Toppings（配料）

Means other ingredients that add texture, usually something chewy, such as tapioca, grass jelly, fig jelly, coconut jelly, chia seeds and many others.（指其他能增添口感的配料，通常是有嚼劲的东西，例如：木薯粉（粉圆／珍珠）、仙草、爱玉、椰果，奇亚籽…等）
