元智大学徵才博览会3月30日登场，以「全球流通：跨域、整合、创新」为主轴，聚集近百家企业，提供上万笔职缺，其中包括多家知名厂商，例如：日月光、仁宝电脑、上银科技、台湾松下电器、阿瘦实业、远传电信、中信金、台新金、富邦金、日系宜得利家居、欧系的诺基亚通信、西班牙商陶丽西等不同领域产业。另有48家公司提供实习机会，让在校生提早认识职场。
元智大学吴志扬校长表示，元智大学近几年力拚学生的国际就业力，元智的双语教学对毕业生就业来说，更是一大利基。元智训练学生除了必须具备良好的外语能力，也强调跨领域、跨文化的学习与适应力，以及海内外的专业实习等能力，例如要求学生大三时都必须到国内企业或海外企业实习，提早与职场接触。此次徵才有多家跨国企业来自大陆或东协等区域，远东集团旗下企业也提供数百个工作名额，希望达到学生毕业即就业的目标。
Ten thousand offers in YZU Job Fair
Nearly a hundred companies attended YZU Job Fair on March 30 and offered ten thousand positions
for the potential employees. Industries included IT, telecommunications, investment and finance companies, consumer electronics, shoe manufacturing, and housewares provide different jobs. They were: ASE Group, Compal, Hiwin Tech, Panasonic Taiwan, ASO Group, Far Eastern Group, CTBT Holding, Taishin Holding, Fubon Financial, Nitori Housewares, Nokia Telecomm, and Torrecid Group. 48 companies also offered internships for students.
President Jyh-Yang Wu (吴志扬) encouraged students to enhance their
professions and proficiency in languages. YZU provides bilingual teaching courses, multi-fielded learning and multi-cultural experiences with internships of international cooperations. Some companies which attended the job fair were from China and ASEAN. Far Eastern Group offers a hundred jobs for the fair.
