Yuan Ze University celebrates its 30th anniversary to lead Taiwan forward

        Yuan Ze University celebrated its 30th anniversary on March 23. In addition to inviting the Douglas Hsu to give a speech in person, the former and the succeeding headman of Taoyuan, Zheng Wencan, Jyh-Yang Wu, where Yuan Ze University is located, and several alumni also were present to celebrate. Douglas Hsu encouraged teachers and students at the ceremony that science and technology are changing rapidly. Although they were celebrating the 30th anniversary, they should still have crisis awareness and try to think about the future direction.
Douglas Hsu said that it was full of hardships when the school was founded, fortunately, with a lot of assistance, Yuan Ze University has developed to the present level, now, the present YZU with a history of 30 years needs to think about the direction of the next 3 decades. Douglas Hsu also shared his recent experience of participating in the Barcelona World Mobile Communications Fair that the world is changing so fast everyone should adjust himself to keep pace with the times. When we talk about AI, in fact, other people's technology has surpassed, they can control AI with AI, this is the speed of technological progress. Schools should also have a sense of crisis and think about the direction and strategy for the next step.
In the celebration ceremony, Mayor Zheng Wencan, Mayor of Taoyuan, said that since its founding in 1989, Yuan Ze University has trained innumerable talents and served as a base for industry-university cooperation, maintaining a good interaction with local governments. In the future, the Taoyuan Municipal Government will assist Yuan Ze University to improve the links between universities and cities and continue to make Yuan Ze University be the famous university in Taiwan. We hope that Yuan Ze University will continue to cultivate more talents and lead Taiwan's progress.         On the day of the school anniversary, many alumni returned to their alma mater to attend the "Alumni Association of 30 years of YZU" with excitement. Former Taoyuan County Governor and current legislator Jyh-Yang Wu also appeared among the alumni crowd and played with cool dad Saxophone to bless the anniversary of Yuan Ze University. Early graduates and entrepreneurs are grateful for the cultivation of their alma mater, so they gave industry-university cooperation as the feedback. Especially in the digital age, the demand for scientific and technological talents is strong. Yuan Ze University has solid energy in the research and development of Internet of Things, big data and AI artificial intelligence. The students are well trained and have won many awards in the external competitions, which are deeply praised by the industry. Alumni hopes to provide more professional internships and employment opportunities. There are many alumni attending with the second generation, which is full of the meaning of inheritance.
In addition, alumni also brought a series of excellent performances including playing the Taiko, alumni self-created Rap singing of 30years. In addition, the school festival also combined with community art festivals, concerts and other celebrations, and specially arranged AI, maker courses and other exhibitions of research and development achievements. With the establishment of English classes in colleges, the Global Affairs Office has established an international park to expand the needs and services of international enrollment.
