Therefore, the park planning will consider long-term development and create a flexible medical space that can meet future needs.Douglas Hsu pointed out that in the face of a shortage of medical personnel, the park will optimize the workflow and spatial configuration of medical personnel, improve service efficiency, and combine technology and medical expertise to develop smart healthcare and research, continuously responding to the medical needs of Banqiao and New Taipei. Far Eastern Group has long been deeply rooted in the city of New Taipei and has a deep emotional attachment to this land. Dr. Chiu, Dean Kuanming, also stated that the signing of the Banqiao Medical Park is an important milestone in the development of Far Eastern Memorial Hospital and the beginning of assuming more local medical responsibilities. In the future, we will uphold the spirit of "deep cultivation on the ground, innovation and sustainability", implement graded medical care, connect medical centers, community hospitals and grassroots clinics, and form a two-way complementary and mutually beneficial care network with the community, so that New Taipei citizens can receive emergency and critical care, advanced medical care and long-term care for chronic diseases. At the same time, by combining technologies such as artificial intelligence, telemedicine, smart wards, and health data integration, we will promote the extension of medical services from hospital campuses to communities and homes, construct a "medical and elderly care integrated" health care system, and move towards a "barrier free hospital" with physical hospital campuses as the core and ubiquitous services.
