Far Eastern Memorial Hospital and Quanta‘ s Co-operation in AI Program is officially unveiled

        In recent years, the trend of AI has swept the world, and the medical industry is also competing to invest in the development of AI. Far Eastern Memorial Hospital cooperated with Quanta Computer Incorporated in September 2018. After more than a year's intensive development, the “medical AI case” has entered clinical practice. The content of the case was officially announced by FEG Chairman, Douglas Hsu, Chairman of Quanta Computer Incorporated, Barry Lam and FEMH President, Fang-Yue Lin on September 24th at the Far Eastern Memorial Hospital’s 38th anniversary celebration ceremony.

        At present, the chest x-ray AI system (CXR AI) cooperation case has entered clinical practice. The system provides four levels of application functions, including health inspection, instant warning, disease classification and automatic reporting, aiming at 20~30 common and important diseases. It first showed the good results cooperatively researched and developed by the 100% "Made in Taiwan" local medical and information professionals.
