OIT held the flag awarding ceremony of the 109 sports exchange group

        From January 13 to 18, the 2019 Oriental Institute of Technology sports exchange group went to Singapore to compete with Singapore Institute of Technical Education and Republic Polytechnic. In order to encourage athletes, the school held a flag awarding ceremony on January 7, and invited FET basketball club to hold a friendly match. FENC Vice Chairman, Peter Hsu, Oriental Institute of Technology President Huang Maoquan, Far Eastern Memorial Foundation Executive Director Huang Maode, and FET Human Resources and Facilities Administration Group Manager Liu Xinghua all came to the scene to cheer up for them.

        Oriental Institute of Technology has long supported the training and competition of basketball teams. In the past decade, the basketball team has made great achievements in the National Junior College Basketball League. It is a traditional strong team in the boys' group, and it has won four national titles in the junior college basketball league. It is a model object for the study and imitation of the domestic junior college men's basketball team. The sports exchange group is composed of 15 members including head coach, Deng Bizhen, coach Deng Biyun and the players. The two national coaches have been engaged in basketball education for a long time. Moreover, they have been in charge of the national hearing impaired men's and women's basketball team to attend the Olympic Games. The trip depended on the efforts and support of many people, we especially thanked the Far Eastern Memorial Foundation for sponsoring the competition cost of the trip.
