Far Eastern Memorial Hospital imported the remote diagnosis and treatment platform.

        In line with the epidemic prevention policy, on the one hand, Far Eastern Memorial Hospital implements outpatient load reduction; on the other hand, with the assistance of FET, it promotes telemedicine service and integrates the remote diagnosis and treatment platform and system of the hospital developed by FET to meet the medical needs of acute and chronic patients. As long as people download "Health + ", they can carry out self-service registration, awaiting diagnosis and video consultation, so as to reduce the frequency of going to the hospital and the risk of infection.

        "Health + " provides public registration and appointment registration. Doctors can diagnose in the cloud through the mobile devices in the consulting rooms, so as to improve the efficiency and convenience of online outpatient visits. Unlike the previous simple mode of calling by phone and line video, this integrated platform replaces all manual processes, and improves the telemedicine imaging medical record mechanism, so that the public can enjoy more convenient and high-quality medical services.

        Telemedicine charges of Far Eastern Memorial Hospital are also included in the health insurance payment according to the general outpatient standard. Through the telemedicine, patients with chronic diseases and those in need of follow-up treatment and report review can obtain professional diagnosis from doctors, issue prescription notes and read test reports, so as to avoid patients' failure to go to the hospital due to epidemic prevention or delay in medical treatment due to their own wrong judgment.

        Far Eastern Memorial Hospital has launched telemedicine outpatient services since May 22 this year, including Cardiology, family medicine, metabolism, pediatrics, Urology,  hepatobiliary gastroenterology, radiation oncology, neurology, psychiatry, obstetrics and Gynecology, general surgery, orthopedics, pediatric surgery, neurosurgery, Nephrology, allergy, immunology, rheumatism, ophthalmology. There are 17 specialties in total. More than 570 people have registered, and the number of outpatient visits per week has reached 101, indicating that the public still has medical needs at present.

        The remote diagnosis and treatment platform developed by FET can save a lot of manpower required for appointment registration, operation and communication and connection arrangement through technology and process simplification, and the amount oftelemedicine can be enough to support large-scale outpatient services. Doctors can interact with patients online, and outpatient registration can automatically connect with relevant medical record system and supports the imaging medical records during the visit.
