Kaohsiung Far Eastern Department Store invites you to save the blood bank

        COVID-19 is serious, people are afraid to go out, which causes blood shortage. Kaohsiung Blood Center’s storage was only for 3.2 days in early July, which was the lowest in recent years, and it forced the Kaohsiung municipal government to send out an alert to call on the public to donate blood. In order to help solve the current blood shortage problem, Kaohsiung Far Eastern Department store will jointly plan a number of blood donation activities with the Lions Clubs International and various non-governmental organizations in the second half of the year.         Huang Youcheng, manager of Kaohsiung Far Eastern Department store, said that the whole Taiwan is at a time of blood shortage. Kaohsiung Far Eastern Department store will hold public welfare blood donation activities on July 31, August 8, August 14, August 20, September 26, October 2, October 16 and October 30. Relevant epidemic prevention measures will be strengthened on site to make people feel at ease to donate blood.
