Far EasTone telecommunications creates 5g Demonstration Classroom and virtual studio in Hualien

        The "5g Demonstration Classroom" and "5g virtual studio" jointly built by far EasTone telecommunications and the wisdom education center of the Education Department of Hualien County government were announced to be opened on February 25.

        "5g Demonstration Classroom" shows smart city applications such as "smart street lamp" and "smart charging" of far EasTone telecommunications, as well as "VR distance learning" related to smart education applications. Far EasTone telecommunications hopes that the "5g Demonstration Classroom" will become a training base for Hualien seed teachers and a platform for teachers to exchange experience in the future. As for "5g virtual studio", it is based on the 5g network of far EasTone telecommunications, combined with virtual reality and AI dynamic capture system to create virtual characters, and combined with local characteristics through multiple technologies to increase the richness of courses.

        Zeng Shiyuan, executive vice president of far EasTone telecommunications enterprise and international business group, said that Hualien County government is actively developing an all-round smart city.
