2022 Taiwan Innotech Expo Yuan Ze University

        Yuan Ze University team participated in the 2022 Taiwan Innotech Expo and won 4 gold, 2 silver and 1 copper medals in the competition for more than 500 patented technical works, as well as 1 Honghai Enterprise Special Award.

        Professor He Zhengen's team of Yuan Ze University Department of Chemical Engineering and Materials Science won two gold medals, one silver medal and one Honghai Enterprise Special Award. Among them, the gold medal was awarded for two invention patents, namely, "Nanobicrystal Structure" and "High Speed Electroplating Method". The former won the Hon Hai Enterprise Special Award with an award rate of less than 1%. As for the silver medal, it was jointly proposed with Professor Huang Jianzhang of the Department of Electrical Engineering that "the wire structure and its method to reduce the interference loss in signal transmission".

                In addition, Professor Weng Fangbai of the Department of Mechanical Engineering proposed the "manufacturing method of fuel cells and fuel cells", and Professor Qiu Tianlong of the Department of Electrical Engineering won the gold medal prize for "organic electroluminescent materials containing onion groups and organic light-emitting diode components", respectively. Professor Lin Chenghong of the Department of Electrical Engineering also won the silver medal for "layer operation stop method based on reliability transfer algorithm for polarization code decoding"; Professor Deng Junhong of the Department of Electrical Engineering won the bronze medal for his "RF self interference elimination method of full duplex wireless receiver".

        Fang Shihao, R&D director of Yuan Ze University, said that Yuan Ze University has actively spread R&D energy to the industry in recent years. In addition to encouraging teachers and students to innovate in R&D, it has also promoted practical teaching and international technology certification, assisted neighboring industrial zones to improve the platform of industry university research chain, and established a more perfect talent cultivation system.
