On September 18, a 6.8 scale earthquake hit Hualien County, causing damage to most residential buildings and construction roads. On September 23, representatives of Asia Cement Corporation, Far Eastern Department Stores, Hualien and A. Mart colleagues sent them to Fuli Township Office in person, Members Huang Linglan of Hualien County, Xu Yangjia, secretary of Fuli Township Office, Lin Mengrou, representative of Fuli Township, and Huang Ruiteng, village head of Mingli Village, will collect them on behalf of the villagers, and then help distribute them to the villagers.
